Audio loop question

I have sample orchestra loops. When I play them from disc they have lower pitch then in vegas. Seems to move up like a 4th.

Why is this happening?
And how do I pitch shift?

Are the loops 44.1K and your Vegas is set to 48K (or the other way around)?

Go into your Prefs/Audio, and uncheck "Import Audio at Project Tempo."
To shift pitch, use the "-" and "=" keys on your keyboard. (not the numpad)
