Audio Master Buses

I obviously still have much to learn and Audio buses are a problem at the moment.

Currently I have 5 audio tracks (4 for surround sound - Centre, Front, Rear & LFE) and a 5th for music.

I have grouped the 4 surround tracks together in the Track Header section. What I now want to do it be able to reduce or increase these four tracks in one go using the Master Bus but can't fathom out how to go about it. The Master Bus currently sliders for Front, Rear, Centre & LFE but affect all tracks.

Had a look at the mixing console but got slightly (read totally) overwhelmed by it.

Could anyone give some hints and pointers in the right direction to acheive my aim?

Cheers.

If you grouped the 4 tracks then whatever you do in one affects the other, i.e. moving the volume slider in track one will move all and thus lower the volume to the master.

Typically you leave the master bus at unity gain, i.e. 0.0 so that you have full dynamic range at render and do the mixing at the track and bus level.
