Audio meter stopped working

VP23 build 352. Audio meters have stopped working. On master bus, no bar bouncing up and down with volume, no peak number at top. At left, the audio meter for the track likewise is not displaying anything. When I put a track compressor Fx on a clip and drag threshold slider to left, where I used to see "reduction" bar moving, also nothing. A reset of Vegas did not help. This is on a laptop that had a clean install of Windows 11 and clean install of Vegas just 2 weeks ago.

There is no V23 352, V23 356 has been withdrawn. V23 302 is the most recent version.

Strange, I double checked, definitely says 352. I see however that 356 has been withdrawn, will download and install 302.

I am one of the lucky ones in that all functions of V23 356 work fine including the meters and play head. V23 302 also is working fine. I hope 302 works for you.

Installed VP23 302, meters are back​​​​.

Also VP23, 352 was running very slowly with R3d footage, 302 is much better.
