Audio mix down

Hi

I have some stereo clips where left is vocal and right is a piano.

How do I mix it so that both L & R have both vocal and piano?

Right click - Channels - Combine

You could also duplicate the audio track and then go to Channels > "Left Channel Only" and on the other track select "Right Channel Only." Then you can actually mix the tracks by setting the track levels separately. Combine just mixes both channels at 50% each which often is not what you want.

I do it the way John Cline says.

I then create a stereo track in SF for the instrument(s), add a bit of "stereo" delay, keeping the vocals centered. Adds a lot of clarity to the mix.
