When external microphones (rifle mic, and radio mic) are connected to my Sony 9000 the audio captured is in MONO (right Channel only). This is despite the NORMAL/ DUAL mic setting set on NORM. I did get an answer regarding DUAL as seeing TWO MONO tracks and Vegas captures only one of them, with no choice as to which (norm Right CH)
I am assuming here plugging in a mic into the external socket must do an auto select DUAL for me, I this true?
Also as it stands Vegas is becomes useless in this mode as I need to have both tracks, other wise there is no point in using it. I would have to capture sound again for the other channel, then try and sync it all up, a bit of a pain as you can see and really a non starter.
Can anyone shed any more light.
