Audio Music/Voice Timelines

Hi,

Thank you in advance for answering this I truly appreciate your help. I'm working on a project in Platinum 8 and am working with the Voice and Music Timelines. I have added the envelope to the lines and have added points at which to lower the music to hear the narrative. When I play it back the music starts to fade then when it hits the point where the audio should start, the audio gets really loud for a second and then both the audio and music tracks go mute. And then after the audio section is over, after the points on the envelope, the music starts up again.

Can you clarify this a bit more .. I'm not sure what is happening.

What "envelope" have you added, and how did you add it? Which track(s) have you added this envelope?

What is the "audio" that "gets really loud for a second..."?

Have you tried MUTING each track seperately to better see what is happening?

I do this type of thing all the time and it works fine for me.

Thanks for your reply. I actually ended up calling Sony and doing a one time service call to Sony. They said I had too many background programs running and needed to clear up some RAM. When I edit now I shut off the background programs and don't have the issue I had before.
