Audio out of sync with video after adding FX?

I have the latest version of Sony Vegas installed on my Windows 10 PC. I’m trying to use a mix between the vibrato effect and the flanger effect on a video. The problem is that the audio becomes out of sync after I add these effects. I read in another forum why this happens so I’m just wondering if there’s anyway around this or anyway to get the audio to sync back up with the video once the effects are added? I hope this makes sense. Thanks for the help in advance.

Divide the clip in the timeline with the FX "Edit> Split" (keyboard shortcut "S") and drag it to sync with the picture.You'll probably want to x-fade the 'new' event. What plug-ins are you using? I've never encountered this.. though I don't have Magix VP versions (14-15).

@brandi-graham

Is the sync issue only when you play back in real time, or is it also out of sync after you render to a file?

You can also check the box Automatically detect and offset for hardware latency" and "Enable track buffering" in the AUDIO DEVICE tab of preferences. Also, try using ASIO driver if possible.
