Audio Pitch off using MainConcept MPEG2 Template

I'm having trouble rendering AVI files into DVD NTSC using the MainConcept MPEG2 Template. The rendered video looks great, but the pitch of the audio is very noticably lower than it should be (women sound like men!!!!!). I'm converting my Sony digital camcorder footage into MPEG2s. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Seriously, we have never heard of anything like this. Can you provide more details on your capture setup -- hardware and software details?

Could you also generate a short sample of the affected output and send it to usa@mainconcept.com?

Just a guess.. Is your input file captured at 32Khz sample frequency by any chance?
