I can't say for sure but I know that sometimes when i try to 'normalize' my sound, it just plain disappears. If you 'normalized' these files, try un=normalizing them and see if you get some volume back. Check your 'Level' control on the left side of the track and make sure it's on 0.0 dB. Then check your level in your mixer area (again 0.0 dB). (I know these may be obvious, but you only left a brief entry.) If that doesn't work, close out that '.veg' and try starting a new one. After that, I don't know what to say.
