audio question

dvd architect takes muxed mpeg, not elemental streams...when I ask DVDA to compress my mpeg layer 2 audio to AC3, but have only the muxed stream, does my dvd end up w/ 2 audio streams or does dvda replace the layer2 audio w/ ac3 ... my question is about space on the dvd media .... thanks for any clarification

thanks - I would have thought so but I can't tell what the manual meant by dvda doesn't support elemental streams - I guess that means for importing...thanks again
