My 'mixer window' meters in my project are in the red (not always), and the reading on top is about at zero, sometimes less. The audio is from a CD and I havn't changed anything.

Should I lower the 'master' volume? When I play my project in WMP, it does seem a bit distorted. I'm just wondering what the meter should read.
