Audio rendering with Waves plug-ins all glitchy in Windows 11

Audio sounds fine when my computer can keep up with me in real-time processing f/x but when rendering in Windows 11 (with Waves audio processing plug-ins) the vocals are glitchy and corrupted on playback.

Ideas? I already reloaded the VST plug-ins and restarted but same render issue.

(Also had a Vegas 17 start issue where I had to go to the task manager and CLOSE Vegas to open it but that's resolved.)

Presumably you've got Waves v9.6 or earlier as that is the last version that Waves state has Vegas Pro compatibility - https://www.waves.com/support/how-to-find-your-plugins-in-vegas-sound-forge

While Windows 11 compliance has not as yet been officially endorsed for Vegas Pro (I'm hoping that this will happenwith the next update), consideration needs to given to the possibility that Waves v9.6, having been released nearly 5 years ago, may itself have compatibity issues with Windows 11.

Waves plugins only occasionally get mentioned on the forum, so it will be interesting to see if anybody on the forum has Waves v9.6 or earlier installed as well as Windows 11. Therefore, it might be useful for you to also post your question on Waves forum - https://forum.waves.com/c/support/9
