I have two computers, both were upgraded to v7, and I have noticed on both that in some cases the audio will not play it's sound, until you stop, start back before it and play again. Sometimes the video freezes and doesn't want to play. It seems that it might be a memory issue, because when you close a bunch of programs then it starts working better.

However, the complaint is that vegas 4 & 6 both seemed to work just fine on both systems. It is like Vegas 7 is now a memory hog or isn't wanting to play the same with our hardware.

One of the machines has 2gb memory the other one not so much.

I read that vegas 7 utilizes the audio card so that it can preview better. Well, I have the Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy card and so far the preview is only worse and takes more system resources.

Any ideas how I can optimize this?
