audio/sound problem

I have vegas 9.0...everything on my computer comes out the speakers, but recently, vegas won't, only through the monitor:( I have windows 7 64 bit. Anything I should check, or do? Thanks:)

Windows 7 sound mixer has separate output volume controls for each running application. Make sure you haven't reduced or muted the slider for Vegas.

The volume is at full. it is not muted. That is why I am wondering what is going on.

Have you selected the desired output device in Vegas Options|Prefernces|Audio Device ?

maybe check what's selected in preferences>audio devices....

I have the speakers selected in the audio devices, but no sound out of speakers:(
