Audio sync off by fraction of a frame by end of clip?

I have a 23 minute event with two cameras. I manually aligned the audios (why does the "synchronize audio to align events" take forevvvvvvvvver? It's useless) at the beginning by zooming all the way in, and lining up the start of the clapboard wave form so it was dead on. By the end of the clip, I notice that the sync is off a fraction of a frame. Is that normal? Both cameras are shooting 29.97 fps.

Unless the cameras are gen-clocked to the same source, there is no guarantee that they will stay in sync. so being off a bit is normal. But if it is a fraction of a frame, I would not be concerned.
