Audio Synch Issue in editing - Render is ok

Editing an mp4 720 file. The audio was out of synch when editing, but the render was fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

Lowest latency drivers will be the latest ASIO drivers for your sound card. Select them in Vegas Preferences. Play with the audio buffers if your problems persist.

Your sound interface and driver version?
Have you installed the latest driver version for your sound interface?
Have you installed the ASIO drivers for your sound interface?
I cannot believe there are not ASIO drivers for the sound card on your i7 machine.
