Audio Track to match Multi-Cam Video Tracks

Is anyone aware of a script that will match the audio track portion to the video clip selected in Multi-Cam. I'm not sure if that is explained clearly.

I have an interview with 3 cameras. Two of the cameras have a wireless lav mic assigned to them. When I select that portion of the (hour-long) video event when using Multi-Cam, I want the audio track right below it to be the only audio playing during that clip. Is that possible without a whole lot of Splitting and Copy/Pasting audio events?

I typically use Excalibur, but maybe a technique/script can be used with any of the Multi-Cam options.

I think that what you're looking for is the Tools/Multicamera/Edit Multicamera Audio with Video setting.

Here's a little trick you could try: After creating the Master track in Excalibur, select all events on the Master track and then use the "Restore Missing A/V" tool in Excalibur. That should add a new track with the associated audio from each event.

Ed,
That worked awesome! A few quick clicks and Excalibur selected the appropriate associated audio (from 3 separate audio tracks) for each of almost 400 events!! I am sooo pleased. As always, a pleased Excalibur customer. Thanks much!!
