Audio unlocking from video

Vegas 11 Build 683 64-bit.

Drop two MXF clips on the timeline. I can pick either one of them up and drag them around, and the video stays sync'ed to the audio.

Butt them against each other, select the first one by clicking on the video part of the event, then right-click and Select Events to End. Hit G to group.

Now when I drag any event, the audio become unhooked from the video.

I don't remember it working like that before. Has it always been this way, or do I have a preference goofed up somewhere? I do NOT have "Ignore Event Grouping" on.

As far as I remember, that's correct. You've created a group from the video only. From memory, there was another slightly different way of 'adding' to a group...but blowed if I can remember it!

if you want the audio to be part of the new group, make sure that you have explicitly selected the video and audio of both clips before you group.
