Yo guys, im an amateur with vegas but I can do most of the basics. I was just wondering, when I slow down or speed up a video clip using the velocity envelopes, how can i make the audio sync up with it? I was working on a video and i slowed a certain part down but the audio stayed at normal speed so they didnt sync :/ pls help!

Velocity envelopes only affect video tracks; they don't affect audio tracks.

If you don't need the video to constantly vary in speed, but are happy with steady speed changes, you can use the Ctrl-drag method instead. If you Ctrl-drag the end of the clip to the left it will speed up both the video and the audio. Ctrl-dragging to the right will slow them both down.

If you need to have several different speeds you can split the clip where you want the speed change and stretch/shrink each piece individually. What you can't do with this method is have the speed gradually change.
