Wondering if anyone has seen this and can recommend a fix?
Sw: MovieStudioPlatinum 6.0 build 85
When I capture output from 2 camcorders and a separate mike track, I can meld them all together into the timeline. I ungroup the camcorder vid and sound, then create a new group combining all 5 tracks together. I can preview/listen and all seems OK, although I only see the top most video track. But I can "mute" this video track, and see the other vid track poking through, and all is in sync.
All appears OK.
Then I start putting S splits (although it does all tracks) in the top video track and doing fades, etc with the lower video track. Again, all seems OK.
However, when I preview, the lower video track is not lipsync with the audio track. But when I use the make movie wizard and create a WMV output, the final file seems OK, with all the fades and sound syncs OK.
Is there a problem with preview that I won't see things exactly as they are?
Do I have to re-do the sound syncs AFTER the splits to get it all correct, and then make movie?
Thanks for any advice.
