Trimmer - Allows you to audition BEFORE or OUTSIDE reaching Timeline

Timeline Allows you to audition ON the Timeline

So, your Preview Levels should reflect that which you are editing or are intending to edit. As a result, I set both my Preview Audio Levels and Timeline Master Levels at 0.0 db. There WILL be occasions where this is inadvisable, but this is not where you are at - at the moment.

I'm guessing here, but I betcha you have Preview at something lower than your Timeline? Am I correct?

Maybe what TeeTime is missing is where the Preview Level fader IS!
Took me ages to work out what that 'non functional' fader was for :)
Come to think of it I'm not even certain if it's visible by default. I just shutdown all Vegan systems so I can't easily check.

I've just spent 1/2 hour looking for the faders you guys mention. There's nothing in the help files that I can find. Can someone post instructions for a dumbo like me:)

The default position for them is on the main screen, to the right of the window containing things like 'explorer, project media, effects, transitions', and to the left of the video preview window (if you have that turned on). You may have to enable the preview fader with the "View / Mixer preview fader" menu option. The preview fader will be labeled "preview" and the master fader labeled "master".
