i just tried rendering some other projects and none of them render audio either now. i have "include audio stream checked". im wondering if it might be my windows media player. hmmm i just tried to play an mp3 and i get nothing. maybe it is the media player. im going to burn a section of the project to dvd and see what happens.

You may also try to open your renders with Vegas and see if the play alright.
