auidio Plugins dont work?

I'm having trouble with the audio plugins non of them work and i don't know how to get them to work? nothing i do makes any changes to the audio. Sound forge was working for a bit, but it wouldn't let me export the file. no it comes up with this screen

so i click ok and i am asked if i want to let sound forge to make changes to my computer o click yes and then nothing.

This long existing and annoying problem has been covered a few times in the Sound Forge forum, the most recent being:

Check out the registry hack suggested by GoatBoy which is about half way down the replies as the hack works, though I've found that the startup problem returns around every 4 weeks and the registry hack needs to be done again each time.

If it still doesn't work, just go to the Sound Forge forum, and it's item 36 on the current forum list - it's titled "SF 10 - Windows 8.1 - not starting"

BTW, the problem still exists on Windows 10.
