Auto Capture Stills Script?

Searched a bit & didn't see anything on this.. Can't imagine there wouldn't be a script for this?

Would like to run a script to automatically pull stills from my video timeline (at full rez size) @ a determined interval, like say every 5 seconds of video - pull a full rez fram and save it to hard drive.

Please point me in the right direction - thanks!!

Both Excalibur and Ultimate S will do this with ease. However, both also cost.

A free script to capture a still at the cursor position can be found here. With some modification, it could do what you are looking for.

Thanks for tips jet

I did actual find a way to do it.. and on the cheap :)

You can export frames in virtual dub as an image sequence.. Sure most of you knew that - but what i discovered was you can change the intervals on frames so your not stuck with getting every frame..
All other video processing are available to... SWEET! thanks Avery!

Yeah, I think Virtualdub is far better suited for frame export compared to a Vegas script. Vegas' export script is too slow by comparison.

I think Vegas' frame export is slow because it resizes the images to the correct pixel aspect ratio. VirtualDub just takes the actual frame and you have to resize it yourself if needed.
