Auto Ken Burns Effects?

Does anyone know if the Ken Burns effect can be applied "automatically" over multiple photo's in a slide show? In other words, I would like to apply a pan effect on photo's 1 thru 10 as example, all at the same time, rather than going into and having to edit each photo individually to accomplish this.

In the past I have used Memories To TV, which was a slideshow producing software, that was able to accomplish this in a step or two with no fuss, in a matter of seconds, applying the Ken Burns effects. Unfortunately that program has started to freeze up on me, so I am trying Movie Studio to accomplish this. Have used movie studio to create great movies, just seems like the process to create slideshows with crossfades and Ken Burns effects are rather tedious. Although I did discover how to apply the auto crossfades to the pictures.

Thanks for any input!

John

Not sure if this helps but you could use a new preset
in the pan and crop, name it as you like then apply
to each pic. At least it's shorter. I tried copy and paste attributes to
all the highlighted clips but it didn't add the pan and crop part.

I just tried this suggestion, and I guess it *could* be helpful in some cases, it's really almost as much work to do the effect you want manually.

i.e. Say you have a standard "dutch tilt" pan/crop effect, where you start the picture tilted a little bit counter-clockwise, and you end the picture with it being a little bit clockwise. (that's the best I can explain it)

Anyway, so you have to save a preset of the counter-clockwise setting, then save a preset of the clockwise setting.

Then, to apply this to other pictures, you have to select the first saved preset, then click at the end of the timeline and select the second saved preset to end it.

I'm not trying to bash your suggestion, but I don't see how this saves any time.

I do see how maybe if you were trying to get the exact same effect on a couple pictures this may be helpful, but for the most part, I just eyeball the pan/crop for each picture.

I do wish there was an easy way to just drag a few preset pan/crop effects to pictures. Like the tilt, a slight zoom, etc..
