Yup. Just loop the file or let it play while sync to cursor is turned on. Adjust as required. you'll insert the keyframes on the fly

Okay, perhaps I didn't ask my question correctly...because any movements I make in any of the Track Motion (3D Source Alpha) views while playing/looping a clip are not being recorded as keyframes whatsoever.

I must be missing something here. I assume the "sync cursor" is the small icon in the lower left hand side of the Track Motion window...correct?

I guess I need a little more to go on here.

My apologies. Build 160 doesn't do this in track motion windows, only in some FX windows. I just loaded 160 this morning...was working with an earlier build.
Sorry for the screwup. Yes, you have the right idea. You have to move the cursor manually from point to point to insert keyframes.

Thanks for confirming this Spot, as I had tried everything and had finally come to the conclusion that it just isn't implemented...but should be.

I'm using build 160 as well, but according to what you've written, did earlier builds actually allow for this in the Track Motion window? If so, perhaps this is a bug issue with 160. If not, then it sure could be a useful implementation.
