It's been a while since I've opened Movie Studio's DVD Architect, but I think you can just set a first play in there, and that's it. This will run over and over, I believe. I need to reload it on my laptop to be sure....give it a try, let us know the results.

If your media is 1 Gig or less, you can set it as the menu background and check the Looped option under menu length.

Note that just about all DVD players alow you to repeat chapters or whole discs indefinitly.

how do I do that? I am new to the sony stuff, am familiar with avid and premiere but not authoring software

Gary's method will work for sure in Architect studio, that's what I'd do.
Right click the file in the explorer, drag to the menu/workspace, and when you let go, choose "set as background video and audio.

You're done.
