Auto Source Media Matching Assistance

Byron K wrote on 5/23/2009, 10:41 AM
I posted this question on the thread that John Cline mentioned this feature here:
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?MessageID=648839&Replies=129

But haven't gotten any replies so decided to start another thread.

Can anyone provide assistance explaining how to match media using the "Automatic source media adjustment for working with mismatched media" feature?

I've tried a search the Help Index but could not find anything.

I've tried pulling up the color corrector but could not find the automatic feature.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Byron

Can anyone assist what or where this feature is?

The reference to this new feature is here in the tech specs:
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/vegaspro/techspecs
3rd bullet.

Is color corrector it? If it is, I can't find the auto function.

Sorry about the dumb questions but I'm pretty excited about the new features that Vegas 9 has to offer over Studio.

Thanks!

Open Vegas 9 and click on Help > Contents > What.s New... Scroll down to the 4th item Adjust Source Media... and click on Project Properties and click on Video. Scroll down the list until you find Adjust source media... all is outlined there.

Thanks for your reply!

After reading the Help, This feature has nothing to do with color correcting.

OK! Are you wanting to Auto Colour Correct Media A against Media B? Is that it?
