Auto Sync for Vegas Pro - Professional Audio Synchronization

joelsonforte.br wrote on 7/23/2025, 1:19 AM

Hello everyone!

I'm pleased to introduce Auto Sync for Vegas Pro, a unique audio synchronization tool designed to optimize your workflow in Vegas Pro.

Auto Sync for Vegas Pro offers two powerful methods for audio synchronization:

Waveform Synchronization: Use similarities in audio waveforms for automatic and precise alignment, perfect for recordings without timecode.

Timecode Synchronization: Leverage metadata generated by professional equipment (like Tentacle Sync) for instant and exact synchronization.

With Auto Sync for Vegas Pro, you'll save time and ensure professional quality in your edits.

@joelsonforte.br  Is this another of your creation?

joelsonforte.br wrote on 7/23/2025, 6:29 PM

Yes @Steve_Rhoden I’ve always felt the lack of a decent audio synchronization tool in Vegas Pro. I’ve seen many users struggling with this issue, and the fact that PluralEyes has been discontinued motivated me to create a comprehensive and exclusive synchronization tool for Vegas Pro.

@joelsonforte.br, does it accept nested project files as video sources, as in the case of HappyOtterScripts?

Yes @Shinra Bansho, accept nested project files as video sources. See video bellow.

But I recommend you do your own testing to see if it meets your needs. The trial version allows you to use 30 sessions.

@joelsonforte.br, Thank you for your reply. That's good! I will certainly test it later.

I still use Plural eyes and it's rock solid and efficient, but still gonna try this new app and see.

@Alex-Pitel @Steve_Rhoden

I still consider PluralEyes to be the best waveform synchronization program available. It has always worked well for me here and has rarely let me down. When I decided to create Auto Sync for VEGAS Pro, I took into account that other editing programs already have a native and functional waveform synchronization feature, which adequately meets users' basic needs. Unfortunately, this isn't yet the case with VEGAS Pro, as its native synchronization feature is still far from meeting users' basic requirements.

Auto Sync for VEGAS Pro was created to fill this gap, natively and functionally addressing the basic needs of VEGAS Pro users. Its only advantages over PluralEyes are its price, which I consider affordable for all users, and Timecode synchronization, a feature PluralEyes lacks.

Thank you for your work joelsonforte.br. I know there are numbers of external programs out there that do a more high-end professional job than the internal Vegas option. I also admire those of you who, either through client expectation or personal satisfaction, strive to use the best tool for each stage of the process before finally rendering in Vegas. However, in my case where I have a large number of short videos which often require changes of content (sometimes on a weekly basis) then I appreciate any tool which can bring in an external process and execute it in Vegas - even if at a slightly lower level of sophistication. If I know the majority of my users are likely to be viewing my video on a mobile phone with a cracked screen in broad daylight, was it really worth the trouble of exporting to Da Vinci and then re-importing it just to get the perfect colour balance - particularly if I have another five projects on my desk which I have to get out the door before the end of the day?

Even with my "flagship" videos where I want to produce high quality, I prefer to use a "continuous improvement" approach, constantly revisiting and improving the original project.

So, thanks again for producing this internal solution that saves me having to switch between Vegas and external products. For my workflow and productivity, I prefer it when "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".

@joelsonforte.br Truly admire the dedication you put in creating and maintaining these useful tools. This Auto Sync plug is actually spot on. It's fast, accurate and easier to use. It also has four particular advantages over PluralEyes: (1).Price (2).Easy install, PluralEyes requires copying and pasting installed files to another location. (3).It has Timecode synchronization, where PluralEyes does not. (4). Ease of use.

Keep up the awesome work !
