Here's a base to get you started:

http://www.jetdv.com/scripts/FadeInOut1Second.js

This script will fade selected events in and out for 1 second. You can modify it to be a different length.

Hey OldFilmer,

I have never used any scripts before... how do I install this? Then how do I use it?

You copy it into the ".\Vegas Pro 8.0\Script Menu" folder on your hard drive.

You can access it from the Vegas Tools | Scripting menu.

For this particular script, select the events you want to fade in and out first and then go to tools - scripting.

Great script for Fade In and Fade Out. Now is there any script for making my images stretch for a longer time then 4 seconds each ? I have 300 images but 4 seconds is too short for images to look at.

I can give you the exact same answer I gave you on the other question. Yes, Excalibur and Ultimate S will both allow that (and allow moving them the match the new length as well.

If you haven't added them to the timeline yet, you would go into the preferences and change the default length for new images. However, this script will change the length. The bad news is that they'll all overlap afterwards creating crossfades. You may find another free script to adjust that as well. Both Excalibur and Ultimate S have a free demo period so you could use either of them too.

You can also find many free scripts at www.jetdv.com and www.vasst.com

Oh God, I didn't need any script after all. Everything was in the Preference before I start adding images. That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Very much !!!
