Novice here using VP14.
Is there any way I can automatically restrict the clip duration to 10 seconds?
My videos have several video clips that sometimes run over 10 seconds but I am looking for a solution where either VP
a) warns me when a clip is going over 10 seconds
or
b) automatically adjust clip length to 10 seconds.
Please suggest a solution
Hello, you can try right click on the timeline to 'insert Empty Event', and adjust the length of it to 10 secs.
Use this event clip as your 'ruler' for length duration. A bit manual way of editing and trimming to target duration you are looking, but can work.
A custom command can look for changes to the timeline and check events and restrict their length to 10 seconds. However, if you do that, you could never have an event over 10 seconds long until you turned off the custom command.
