Hi,
I'm trying to apply automated effects on a track in Vegas Audio 2.0. From what I can see, this is accomplished via the Assignable Effects and using FX Envelopes to juggle the FX send on the track in combination with the Volume Envelope and also the input and output on the Assignable Effects mixer.
Is that the only approach in Vegas? What I woud really like is to automate the track effects themselves but I gather that is not possible?
What I've noticed in trying to use the Assignable effects is that it seems like I have to have at least some gain on the Volume envelope or nothing is audible from the Assignable Effects send at all. This is a problem for me if, for example, I want to apply an EQ to an event for a temporary bass kill. With the Volume envelope up, the bass will still come through to some degree. Is this a known issue. Is there a workaround?
Thanks!
