autosave PLEASE HELP

Can someone please help? I just took a power hit and I lost all my work. I'm running Vegas 7.0e. Autosave doesn't seem to have worked. I looked in the default folder and there are no saved files. When I opened the .veg file again, it reverted back to the file before I did all my work and didn't save my changes. I do have ENABLE AUTOSAVE checked in the preferences, but it doesn't seem to be working. Can anyone help?

When you opened Vegas the FIRST time, it should have popped up a dialog that said something to the effect: The last project was not shut down correctly, would you like to load the last auto save?" (or something to that effect).

Since you're already past that, go to Options - Preferences and see where your "temporary files folder" is located. Browse to that folder and look for a file like: 00000000.restored.veg
