AVC to MPEG2

I have followed Vegas advice and rendered my AVC HD footage to MPEG2 in order to edit the clips on the timeline as my computer is lacking in a bit of power. I was wondering if after i have finished editing can i re render the movie back to AVC to burn onto a disc, and would i be losing any quality. Thankyou Dashadoo.

Did you use my proxy editing tutorial? Using that, you don't lose any quality:
