AVC Upshift now available!

I just noticed that AVC Upshift is now available http://vasst.com/product.aspx?id=bf3e2d5a-7c2e-4969-a8dd-7cee2cefba30here.[/link]

I just downloaded the demo and have my first question:

Can you match the standard HDV m2t settings and have "upshifted" video clips which will smart-render into a final HDV smart-rendered master? It seems to me that that would be how most people would want to use this and yet there are no presets for this type of use.

I am going to test it tomorrow on some testclips. I am waiting for Canon Denmark to be able to test a HF10/100 that we sell at work, and as soon as I have this I will test for real.
What I am interested in is the speed. I hope for speed better that 1:1 to save time compared to tapecapture.

bump:

Somebody must know:

Can m2t clips generated by AVC Upshift smart-render into an HDV project if you use the right settings? If so, what are these settings?

Does anybody know if this thing handles AC3? I leafed through the PDF and it did not give an answer.

I can’t find any demo version ?
I'm missing something ?

Can Upshift handle 1920*1080 Panasonic AVCHD files ?

Hi

So far I have only tried with testclips downloaded from dvinfo etc. but I get some kind of 4:3 result. The aspect ratio seems problematic for me some how.

The speed ofthe conversion itself seems pretty good compared to other converters.
