hi i messed up here what i meant was i want to bring video that is edited from movie studio 10 and then burn a avchd disk on a regular dvd thank you for your reply
hi thank you for the reply yes i know i can burn HD to regular DVD converts it down. i have software that came with my Sony
HDR C550V that will take HD and burn a AVCHD disk on regular
DVD of course you have to play on blue ray player but its great can't tell the difference from a blue ray disk the problem is no editing
you download out of the camera and then burn the disk.
I haven't tried this, but you should be able to use SmartCutter or VideoReDo version 4 to do smart trimming or splicing of your raw AVCHD files and then use Sony PMB to make an AVCHD disc, without unnecessary recoding.
Alternatively, you could make a Blu-ray DVD ISO file using DVD Architect and then use AVCHD-Patcher by wirepole to patch it and then use Imgburn or whatever to burn it as an AVCHD disc. I have done this.
I have prepared a standard DVD with a Sony format AVCHD rendered from Vegas Pro via DVD architect, including menus. The resulting disc played back with very good quality on my Sony Blue ray player, but is not recognised by non-Sony players.
Then try using AVCHD-Patcher on it. You will have to mount the ISO file created by DVDA (eg using Virtual Clone Drive), copy the files to a new directory and patch the index.bdmv files (main and backup copies) using the INDX version 0100 option. Then burn the BDMV directory to a DVD, being sure to select a UDF 2.5 file system.
