AVCHD input, DVD output?

I'm guessing the answer is no, but...

Can DVD Architect accept Sony AVCHD files and then convert automatically to MPEG2 when creating a DVD?

I'd like to create a regular DVD with files from my camcorder but I'm too lazy to edit and convert them.

Yes, it can. It will accept most types of video files and then re-encode them to MPEG2.

Umm, do you know the minimum software version required? I think I have 4.0 that came with Movie Studio. But I haven't installed in since I rebuilt my PC awhile back.

Would I need to upgrade? I suppose I could get 4.5 with the latest version of Movie Studio?
