AVCHD Smart Render???

Can anybody tell me if Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum Pro Pack can "smart" render AVCHD .mts files from Sony camcorder like Vegas Pro can do?

AVCHD can be many things. Try to Wiki it and see.

If you want to be 100% sure you can smart render the media you have then just download the trial version of Vegas and try it.

AVCHD .mts files are from Sony HDR-XR500V AVCHD camcorder.
I know Vegas Pro can "smart render" those .mts files.
So, I was wondering if a "little sister", Vegas Movie Studio can do that too.
