I just got VMS HD Platinum 10 last night.
I was up all night going through tutorials, etc.
I have 1 hr 41 movie (1920x1080 60i, DD5.1) AVCHD made with a Sony HDR-CX560V Camcorder.
I added the clips to the timeline, put a few transitions in between the clips and click Make Movie. Select the option for blu-ray. It starts to render and then I get low memory error. I've tried select only the first 5 minutes of video and it still crashes.
I get that it's a 32bit app, but come on? It should at least work. I was using Pinnacle Studio with no rendering problem. But it didn't support Sony's DD5.1 so I switched to VMS. Now I have surround sound but can't render.
I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
12 GB RAM
nVidia 580GTX 1.5GB video card
Intel i7 990X Hexcore 3.45 GB processor
and 2TB drive.
What am I doing wrong? I thought VMS with a Sony Camcorder would be a slam dunk.
Please help.
