AVI help

I have saved a video clip as AVi DV 720 x 480 16 Bit audio 44.1 kHz Stereo

If I open this video clip and do some editting like just cut some Frames out that is it and then save it again as
AVI DV 720 x 480 16 Bit audi 44.1 kHz

Will it start to degrad the file??

As long as you save it as DV again there will be no degradation at all.
