AVI problems

Hi All,

A couple of AVI issues--First I saved an AVI file (Vegas 5 using NTSC setting) and noticed where I had some transitions followed by some text, that just before the transition started the picture seemed to stutter or jump slightly. I saved this same section as an mpeg2 and this problem did not occur. Secondly my AVI files do not play in windows media player correctly, I get sound, but only a black screen??? Any help would be appreciated

What transitions are you using..some non sony transitions have rendering problems...loose the transitions and see what happens..

I cant use pixalen software sometimes because their coding is off.

Tranitions are all done in vegas--real basic stuff--clips overlapping clips for about two seconds with type over the top on a transparent background.
