AVI that has audio far passing the video clip scottshackrock wrote on 6/26/2004, 8:55 AM I import an AVI file onto my timeline, and the video remains at about 5 min's long. THe audio, however, is like an hour long!! haha. When watching this movie in Windows Media Player, the audio plays fine with the clip.... Any Ideas? I'm sure the AVI is corrupt or something, but how can i fix this so vegas reads it right? Back to post
Comments erratic wrote on 6/26/2004, 9:37 AM Extract the audio from the avi file with VirtualDub (Save WAV). If it's a DV AVI you'll need a VFW DV Codec. There's a free one from Panasonic. If your WAV file plays correctly after VirtualDub has extracted it, you can import it into Vegas. 1
