AVI with MP3 soundtrack...

newUzer wrote on 5/22/2006, 12:55 PM
I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this and my current workaround is correct, but I thought I'd see if anyone else has this problem with 6.0d.

The basic premise is: Vegas tanks if you render to an AVI (compressed or uncompressed video) and try to use MP3 compression for the soundtrack.

You need to render each separately and use a muxer afterwards to mux the two together.

Roger on that...just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something. I'm currently using VirtualDubMod for muxing and I guess I'll stick with it until Vegas "works."
