Avid OMF files

Does anybody know how.. or if it's possible to transfer Avid OMF audio files into Vegas Audio 2.0. They have a Mac based Media Composer system. Any info would be appreciated. I am tring to save one of my clients some money as they would have spring for an audio post suite here in NYC or fly me out to their HQ in Ohio which has limited audio tools.
Thanks

I'm not sure what kind of files OMF are. There's two main types: 1) actual
media itself, like .wav, .mp3, etc., and 2) sequence or project files which
simply specify how other files are to be rendered together. Which type is
OMF?

If it's a media file, and you want to convert them to a form that Vegas
(or most any other Windows based sound editor) can open, try exporting
them from Avid into .WAV or .AIF, both of which can be opened by almost
all Sonic Foundry software.

Here is a list of file types that Vegas Audio supports:

Hello,

Isn't possible, but is a good idea for new releases.

Hello,

>Which type is OMF?

Is a projet file, with all data (audio archives and position), is good for interchange projets with other programs like Protools, Avid, Nuendo, etc.

Is a lack for profesional use of the Vegas, the no support of OMF.

Thanks,
ramallo is right about the Avid OMF files.
I got a friend who has a Nuendo system in his project studio. Guess I'll try that.
