Award winning documentary edited in Vegas: "Mauritania Railway..."

Another example of something professionally edited in Vegas Pro

I edited the doc in Vegas and color corrected it in DaVinci Resolve. Vegas is not the most popular editing software, but it’s really fast and excellent for sound. I’m able to edit quickly on it.

Long shot, but on the off chance that the Originator ("macgregor") of this video sees this post : could you share your workflow re Vegas-Resolve-After Effects?

Welcome. I really enjoyed it too. Maybe it's because I live on the Canadian "wet" coast, but I find deserts fascinating.

Yes, it looks good. I would add that there's less and less reason to go into Resolve from Vegas, IMHO. I will have to shoot something to better make my case.

Regardless if the movie is great. I wonder about the workflow too. AE for stabilization or Resolve for the Grading what was more a colormatching anyway only? Sure that works, but it could have done within Resolve only or Vegas only too.
