Doc,

Go to Kinko's. There's no paper version of the Vegas manual. Only PDF.

i bought vv2.0 last year and it had a manual
however, some boxes did not
it doesn't really matter, you can simply download a maual from "downloads" and print it out
all you need is to download "adobe acrobat reader 5.0" to open the file
that's what i did and printed the manual for vv3.o on my computer
kinko's charges like $25 to open a disk and then like 15 cents per page
talk about rip offs
maybe Joe D could start a thread on their forum? hehe
i use my manual all the time :)
btw, i paid for my upgrade and love it
best money i spent in a long time

Just got back from Kinko's... $27 for printing, $20 for binder/page holders, Office Depot. This is 10% of the program purchase price, isn't it?
Please, wvg, no diatribe necessary. I love the Vegas program.)

Trying to skip around the .pdf file online was making me dizzy. Somebody could make a $ just selling the printed manual in softcover. Too bad it's not an option!
Thnks for replying.

You're putting way too much faith in the manual. While it's nice to keep it online so you can search it from time to time, there's no reason at all to keep a printed copy around (no search function!).

I simply used FinePrint to print it out 2 pages to a side, double-sided (about 35 sheets). Finished reading it cover to cover in a couple evenings and haven't used it since.

are we talking about the same manual?
vv3 is 363 pages

he printed it in small print so several pages will fit on a sheet of paper.

oops. You're right. I printed it 4 pages to a sheet, double sided. So that's actually 45 sheets. Small print, but I only needed to read it once. Haven't looked at it since.
