SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

FOR ALL SONY VEGAS AND DVD ARCHITECT USERS

New VegasEditors.com Users Group and Website

The (SCVUG) Southern California Vegas Users Group is undergoing dynamic growth and changes, and we would like to share the good news with you.

The SCVUG now has 1072 members who participate from many locations far outside of Southern California. Because of this, we have considered requests for renaming the group to a name that is more representative of our service to all Vegas users and our growing worldwide membership.

Effective today April 1, 2005 The SCVUG has now become a contributing partner of the new VegasEditors.com Users Group. We are also very excited to officially announce that we have built and launched our new VegasEditors.com website.

Our members voted on what they wanted most in a Vegas Users website. Based on the fantastic reviews and comments that are coming in, we believe we have succeeded in satisfying everyone's top ten wishlist.

When you visit the new website, you will discover that it is loaded with features and resources that are designed to satisfy the needs of all Vegas Editors. The site is an evolving resource, and we welcome further feedback on any additional features you may all find useful.

As most of you already know, the SCVUG has been selected by SONY Pictures Digital to produce, videotape, edit and stream the four Vegas 6 and DVDA 3 classroom training seminar sessions from the upcoming NAB 2005. The Vegas 6 and DVDA 3 Streaming Videos will be hosted on VegasEditors.com

There is already a NAB 2005 preview video on VegasEditors.com for you to now see. The Streams of Vegas 6 and DVDA 3 will be available for full viewing on Tuesday April 19th. You should plan to visit VegasEditors.com VegasEditors.com long before NAB to make sure that you can view the streams successfully. If you like what you see and experience while you are there, then consider this an invitation to join the new VegasEditors.com Users Group.

Thank you on behalf of the members of the SCVUG and VegasEditors.com.

Hi Jay

Nice site you have created.

I have signed in and look forward to learn more about editing from you guys over there.

"The Streams of Vegas 6 and DVDA 3 will be available for full viewing on Tuesday April 19th"

Will we be able to download these, so we don't have to stream every time want to look at some details?

Rune,

Thanks for the site review.

A lot of time and work went into the design and features performance of the new website.

We will be providing more details about the streams and downloading as we get closer to NAB.

A reminder that the Vegas 6 and DVDA 3 streams from NAB will be available to view on Tuesday April 19th.

You will need to be Registered and Logged in to the VegasEditors.com Homepage to open and view the NAB Streams.

It might be better to register now and test the sample streams on your viewer than to wait until the last minute.

I've got to agree with Jay on this. If you want to make SURE that you can view the videos the moment we upload them on Tuesday April 19th you MUIST make sure you can access our site, login to the home page, and test that you can view the sample stream that is already there.

You only get to see the sample stream when you are logged in to the home page.

If you find you have a problem at the last minute it'll probably be TOO LATE... as we'll be in Vegas an busy with everything else.

The following link takes you to the sample NAB video stream

NOTE: if you are not yet registered you will not be able to access the page... but as soon as you are registered THAT link will be the one for you to test.
