Now I'm a bit confused with your, "then it shifts back (or scribble back) . ." .. can you expand a bit? Or put it a different way?

1/ - You could Morph the images.

2/ - You could "scribbke" on the screen with something lioke Camstudio I guess .. .

3/ - Lots of transition possibilities.

4/ - Masks to dissolve through layers of dates.

5/ - Chroma key stuff in and out .. .

6/ - You could also do a Bob Dylan type of placard fall away

7/ - There is a flying 3-d element you might wanna try

As I say many ways to exo-viscerate this particular feline [ Skin a Cat?! haha ]

Ask yourself this: What am I trying to convey? Will this slow the pace of the video? Will this speed up the video? Will this be too obvious for the audience to be almost patronising? . . Lots of questions to ask yourself . .This is the interesting part . .well, it is for me . .
