I don't know if it's due to multiple Vegas apps running or to program crashes (it's not often that I voluntarily exit Vegas) but I would really like to find a way to back up or share the Vegas toolbar. I think I've determined that the toolbar is saved upon successful exit of Vegas, so crashes (theoretically) shouldn't affect it.
However, I have 15-20 icons on the toolbar and routinely they are gone (not just un-displayed, but gone). I checked the forum---others have noted that there are files called "CustomDuckViews.dat" and "tbmappings.dat" which seem to be involved with the toolbar, but try as I might I can't use these to restore a favorite toolbar setup.
I have two computers running Vegas, and I'd really like to be able to copy toolbar settings from one to the other, too. Has anyone solved this problem?
