No, this doesn't do what I'm asking. I want a song to loop in the background and not stop while I navigate through the levels/menus of the project.
What they're saying here is "you can choose an audio file to begin playing whenever a menu is accessed".
The problem here is that once you navigate to a new menu your audio either stops or starts again according your audio selection.

I'm no expert on DVD spec, but I think this is a limitation to all DVDs. I don't recall seeing any commercial DVDs that keep one track constant while switching between menus. Of course, sitting here in the office, it's hard to confirm that...
